Contact Me

I offer consultancy services both in the UK and internationally. My expertise includes a variety of consultancy initiatives across Europe, accompanied by significant travel, especially to Africa and South America. I concentrate on managing consultation projects that target vulnerable populations and law enforcement, which ultimately leads to improved public health outcomes. Moreover, I have conducted research and participated in community-based activities focused on social justice, youth issues, and development improvement.

I have been invited to take part in numerous international projects, contributing to the establishment of global agendas concerning security, public health, and safety. Many of these initiatives involved collaboration with organisations such as the World Health Organisation and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC). My extensive background includes providing training for law enforcement agencies on how to adopt sensitive approaches when supporting individuals who are criminalised or exploited by organised crime groups. Additionally, I have facilitated training sessions aimed at ensuring police officers are considerate in their interactions with children and young people who have faced significant trauma.

I also engage in guest lecturing and public speaking, primarily focusing on childhood vulnerability and domestic abuse. For instance, I participated in a workshop organised by Edinburgh’s Equally Safe Committee that addressed the impacts of childhood domestic abuse. My role included delivering a thirty-minute presentation alongside three other speakers and taking part in a subsequent panel discussion.

I have also engaged in guest speaking throughout my twenty years of experience in areas such as childhood vulnerability, domestic abuse, policing, and public health and safety.

The primary areas in which I offer consultancy services include:

Training: Providing expertise in trauma-informed care for professionals supporting children and young people, especially concerning domestic abuse or law enforcement contexts.

Facilitation: Leading, chairing, and facilitating consultations for organisations and networks in an impactful and engaging manner.

Focus Groups: Conducting activities designed to gather detailed insights through focus groups.

Research Methods: Employing various research techniques, with an emphasis on qualitative approaches, including creative methods.

Guest Speaking: Teaching and discussing childhood vulnerability, domestic abuse, policing, and public health and safety.
